Job Description:

Estimator - Electrical & Low Voltage Modern Media Communications & EZ Electric LLC Position Summary We are seeking a disciplined and detail-oriented Estimator to support both electrical and low-voltage structured cabling projects. This role is responsible for producing accurate, compliant, and timely estimates while supporting pre-construction activities such as vendor coordination and value engineering. The Estimator will play a critical role in improving bid consistency, turnaround time, and overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and proposals
• Perform takeoffs from plans and specifications
• Coordinate vendor and supplier pricing
• Support value engineering (within company standards)
• Price change orders and revisions
• Maintain estimating templates and pricing libraries (in Quotewerks)
• Ensure proposal compliance and documentation standards
• Support both electrical and structured cabling projects Qualifications
• Experience in electrical or low-voltage estimating (preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
• Familiarity with estimating software Intellibid Electrical Estimating
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to collaborate with PMs, vendors, and leadership Compensation

Base Salary:

$65,000

• Performance-based commission tied to project profitability and estimate accuracy
