TBD Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Overnight Meat Room Cleaner to maintain sanitation standards within the commissary's meat department. This position is responsible for ensuring all areas of the meat room are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after daily operations, in compliance with health, safety, and commissary regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of the meat room, including floors, walls, equipment, and work surfaces Clean and sanitize cutting rooms, storage areas, prep spaces, and refrigeration units Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment Remove and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards (USDA and commissary guidelines) Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within overnight timeframes Identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns Maintain organization and cleanliness of cleaning supplies and work areas

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred Previous janitorial, sanitation, or food service cleaning experience preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to follow safety protocols and detailed instructions

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs regularly Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting Ability to work in cold and wet environments (refrigerated areas) Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals and equipment

Work Environment:

Overnight work in a commissary setting Exposure to cold temperatures, water, and cleaning agents Fast-paced environment with strict sanitation standards

Must be able to pass a background check Must obtain and maintain base access (Real ID or Enhanced ID required)

From $27.50 per hour
