Event Sales Consultant

Event Sales Consultant Goff Tents & Events Position Summary Goff Tents & Events is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Event Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in creating exceptional event experiences by assisting clients throughout the rental process while coordinating closely with operations, logistics, and management teams. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a strong commitment to customer service. From initial inquiry to final delivery, the Event Sales Consultant will help ensure every event is executed professionally and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Client Relations & Customer Service Provide outstanding customer service to clients throughout the event planning and rental process. Assist customers with rental selections, event planning guidance, and product recommendations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through professional and timely communication. Work collaboratively with operations, warehouse, and management teams to ensure successful event execution. Sales & Contract Management Prepare, review, and confirm rental quotes and contracts with accuracy and attention to detail. Follow up on quotes and inquiries to increase booking conversion rates. Convert approved quotes into reservations and coordinate scheduling for delivery and pickup. Collect deposits and payments while ensuring proper documentation is completed. Obtain electronic or handwritten signatures on all rental contracts and required documents. Maintain organized and accurate customer files, contracts, and event information. Delivery Coordination & Logistics Communicate delivery schedules and event updates to customers through phone calls, emails, and text messages.

Notify clients of upcoming deliveries:

One week prior Week of the event Day of delivery Follow up with customers who are unreachable on delivery day to assist with smooth event execution. Confirm order change deadlines with customers and communicate any changes immediately to logistics and operations teams. Coordinate closely with dispatch and warehouse staff regarding order adjustments, special requests, and delivery details. Administrative & Showroom Duties Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails professionally and promptly. Check voicemail and company mailbox daily. Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the showroom and office areas. Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed. Support overall office operations and team communication. Qualifications Previous experience in sales, customer service, event planning, or the event rental industry preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using email, scheduling systems, and computer software. Professional attitude with a strong customer-first mindset.
