Position Summary The Event Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in creating meaningful, memorable experiences that strengthen member engagement and foster a welcoming club culture. This position serves as a connector between members, committees, and departments, ensuring seamless event execution, strong communication, and elevated food-and-beverage experiences that support member satisfaction and retention. Key Responsibilities Member Engagement & Experience Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for members and guests across all club facilities Organize and support in-house member events including mixers, tournaments, dining events, and social functions Manage and respond to member feedback to continuously improve the club and dining experience Support member retention through personalized engagement and thoughtful service Event Planning & Execution Plan, coordinate, and execute member events that reflect member interests and build community Be present at events to welcome guests, manage logistics, and serve as a club ambassador Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth, professional event execution Food & Beverage Collaboration Partner with the Food & Beverage team on event menus, dining promotions, and special functions Assist with menu concepts that align with seasonal offerings, member preferences, and club standards Gather and communicate feedback on menus, pricing, and dining experiences Support tastings, menu presentations, and approvals as needed Communication & Liaison Serve as a primary point of contact for member inquiries related to events and dining experiences Act as liaison for the Experience Committee, supporting collaboration and communication Relay member insights and feedback to leadership and department heads Marketing & Digital Support Assist with membership and dining promotions through the club website, app, and newsletters Support clear, engaging digital communications with a news-style writing approach Help create, organize, and schedule social media content to promote events and enhance community engagement Ideal Candidate Profile Passion for hospitality, events, and member experience Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments Creative interest in food, beverage, and social programming Comfortable engaging directly with members and representing the club at events This role is ideal for a service‑driven professional who thrives in a relationship‑based environment and enjoys bringing people together through exceptional experiences. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, private club, hotel, resort, or food-and-beverage environments Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships and engage with members and guests Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of event planning logistics, timelines, and budgeting principles Experience collaborating with Food & Beverage teams on menus, tastings, and special events preferred Basic marketing or communications experience, including newsletters, websites, apps, or social media platforms, is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning club management and communication systems Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event programming Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for a private club environment Ability to stand, walk, and be active for extended periods during events Strong leadership and people management skills. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and club point of sales systems. Understanding of Club financials. Significant experience in the food and beverage industry. Understands the financial connection between customer service, food quality, portion control, cost of sales, and payroll dollars, as they relate to the net income of the restaurant. Strong beverage and wine background. Bachelors degree in Hospitality preferred
