SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE A & A
Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Event Staffing Manager to oversee recruiting, staffing operations, employee management, and client support for major events throughout the Dallas area. This position plays a critical role in ensuring successful staffing execution for concerts, sporting events, conventions, festivals, stadium operations, corporate events, and large scale entertainment venues. The Event Staffing Manager will be responsible for full cycle recruiting, onboarding, compliance management, scheduling, and onsite event support. This individual will work directly with clients and employees to ensure operational expectations are met while maintaining a strong and dependable event workforce. This position requires hands on involvement both in the office and onsite at events. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, adaptable, professional, and experienced in event staffing and workforce operations.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage full cycle recruiting processes including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, compliance verification, and employee placement Recruit and staff a wide range of event personnel including culinary staff, warehouse staff, unarmed security guards, event guest services personnel, event support staff, and general labor positions Build and maintain a strong staffing pipeline and employee database capable of supporting large scale and last minute staffing requests Coordinate staffing schedules and event coverage for multiple clients and event locations Conduct onboarding, credential verification, compliance documentation, and employee file management Ensure all assigned staff complete required certifications, onboarding paperwork, and event credentials prior to deployment Attend events in person to support operations, supervise staff, and maintain client relationships Conduct employee check in, uniform inspections, attendance tracking, and event debriefs when onsite Monitor employee performance, professionalism, attendance, and compliance during events Communicate directly with clients and venue management to ensure staffing expectations and operational needs are met Support crowd management, operational coordination, and real time problem solving during events Maintain accurate attendance records, scheduling reports, staffing rosters, and payroll related documentation Assist with employee coaching, corrective actions, and conflict resolution when necessary Organize and conduct staff briefings and operational updates prior to events Support business development efforts through strong client service and relationship management Collect operational feedback from clients and staff to improve staffing performance and event execution Perform additional staffing, recruiting, and operational duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
Previous experience in event staffing, recruiting, workforce management, hospitality staffing, security staffing, or event operations required Strong experience with full cycle recruiting and employee onboarding processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage both clients and employees professionally Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem solving abilities in fast paced environments Ability to manage high volume staffing operations and last minute scheduling changes Ability to work flexible schedules including weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and live events Professional leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate event personnel Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Word Experience with staffing platforms, scheduling systems, and applicant tracking systems preferred Bilingual skills are a plus
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and supervise event staff Provide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action when necessary Monitor attendance, professionalism, and operational performance of assigned staff Support employee retention and workforce development initiatives
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Degree in Human Resources, Business, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, event operations, hospitality, or workforce management preferred Experience managing staffing operations for large scale events strongly preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during live events Ability to travel locally between office and event locations as needed Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Prolonged periods of sitting, computer work, phone communication, and event operations coordination
