EverBloom Holistic Nursing, PC is Hiring Part-Time Social Group Facilitator Elk Grove / Sacramento, EverBloom Holistic Nursing Sacramento, CA Job Details Part-time $20 - $25 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification First aid Working with children First Aid Certification Direct support Full Job Description We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, patient, and dependable Social Skills Group Facilitator to support structured social and recreational groups for children and adolescents under the age of 17, including children on the autism spectrum and other neurodivergent youth. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and is comfortable supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, developmental disabilities, emotional regulation challenges, and communication differences in a supportive and neurodivergent-affirming environment. This role involves facilitating structured social interaction activities, recreational groups, sensory-friendly activities, and peer engagement opportunities while helping create a safe, positive, calm, and inclusive environment for participants.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate structured social and recreational group activities for children and adolescents Encourage positive peer interaction, communication, teamwork, and participation Support children during transitions, group activities, emotional dysregulation, and sensory needs Lead and assist with games, arts and crafts, movement activities, sensory activities, and social interaction exercises Maintain participant supervision and safety at all times Provide calm and supportive behavioral redirection when needed Support children with varying developmental, communication, sensory, and emotional needs Assist with setup, organization, activity preparation, and cleanup Maintain professionalism and appropriate boundaries with participants and families Complete simple attendance and participation documentation as needed Collaborate with staff to create a welcoming and emotionally safe group environment
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older Comfortable working with children on the autism spectrum and neurodivergent youth Patient, nurturing, emotionally aware, and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and supportive during behavioral or emotional challenges Ability to work independently and within a team environment Passion for supporting children and helping build confidence and social connection
Preferred Experience:
Experience in any of the following areas is preferred: ABA or behavioral support Paraeducator or classroom aide experience Childcare Camp counseling Social groups or recreation programs Mental health support Special education Child development or psychology Working with neurodivergent children and adolescents CPR and First Aid certification preferred. If not currently certified, willingness to obtain certification during onboarding/training period is required. This is a part-time position with approximately 8-15 hours weekly. Afternoon, evening, summer, Saturday, and occasional weekend opportunities may be available. Candidate must be available to start immediately. Background check will be required prior to employment.
