Job Description

S&G Excavating, LLC is a family-owned company located in Wautoma, Wisconsin that provides residential and commercial work. Our goal is to assist homeowners and contractors with any landscaping, demolitions, or excavation dreams they may have. No job is too big or too small here at S&G! We are looking to expand our team with reliable, motivated, and positive people! We offer both competitive pay and benefits. In this position, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to assist in construction of structures, including house foundations, backfilling, property improvements, and demolitions. Construction equipment includes, excavators, dozers, skid loaders, backhoes, and dump trucks.
Responsibilities:
Drive a tractor trailer truck, including loading and unloading equipment. Interpret and communicate with others in person and over the phone. Keep a log of travel time, equipment time, and labor time. Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures. Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, cleaned, and stored safely. Follow verbal and written instructions. Perform quality work as determined by project specifications. Accountable for all tools, equipment, and materials at the end of your shift. All other duties assigned.
Requirements:
Class
A CDL DOT
drug screen/ physical Driver must be in DOT compliance at all times. Inspect truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, water, and all fluids and performs pre and post trip inspections. At least one (1) year of experience.
