Managing Procurement Forestry Professional Weekly Timber & Pulp, Inc. Wautoma, Wisconsin Job Type Permanent Salary $85,000 - $100,000 per year Benefits Based on experience and credentials. 401(k), Health Insurance, PTO, Relocation Assistance Min. Experience 5+ years We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Procurement Forestry Professional to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics, materials management, and supply chain systems to effectively coordinate forestry operations and contribute to the overall productivity of our organization. Responsibilities Manage and oversee forestry logistics operations, including planning and executing timber harvests while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Oversee and coordinate trucking/logistics of materials necessary for forestry operations from source to delivery. Monitor inventory levels and manage relationships with mills. Analyze data related to supply chain management to optimize operational efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop sustainable forest management plans that balance ecological health with economic viability. Skills Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry with a minimum of 5 years' experience. Certified Plan Writer. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on production planning and procurement processes. Strong knowledge of silviculture of Wisconsin trees. Strong analytical skills to assess forest conditions and make informed decisions regarding resource management. Familiarity with sustainable forestry practices and environmental regulations is highly desirable.
