Job Description

CORPORATE PILOT
  • BELL 505 / DUAL RATED Full-Time | Tuscaloosa, AL | An established Tuscaloosa-based company is seeking an experienced, dual-rated pilot to join our private flight operation.
This is a full-time, salaried position supporting executive and personnel transport under Part 91. The right candidate takes pride in professionalism, discretion, and a safety-first culture.
AIRCRAFT
Primary:
Bell 505 Jet Ranger X (helicopter)
Secondary:
Fixed-wing (Beechcraft Baron or Cessna 310 class)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as PIC for executive and personnel transport flights Conduct all preflight planning, weather analysis, and post-flight documentation Coordinate flight logistics including fuel, FBO arrangements, and scheduling Maintain aircraft airworthiness records and coordinate with maintenance personnel Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations and company flight standards Additional duties related to aircraft management and other company operations
REQUIREMENTS FAA
Commercial Pilot Certificate
  • Rotorcraft (Helicopter) FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
  • Fixed Wing (Multi-Engine preferred) Instrument Rating
  • required (helicopter; fixed-wing IFR a strong plus) Minimum 1,500 total helicopter flight hours Demonstrated Bell 505 PIC time strongly preferred Fixed-wing experience in Baron, Cessna 310, or comparable twin required Current FAA First or Second Class Medical Clean aviation record; background check required Professional demeanor and high degree of discretion
SCHEDULE & TRAVEL
Full-time Available for on-call flexibility as operational needs arise Primarily local and regional day flights; rare overnights Based in Tuscaloosa, AL
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary:
$110,000
  • 125,000 depending on experience Company-paid health insurance premium (100%) Professional, stable work environment with a respected regional company
