DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIESThe Tooling Expeditor is responsible for supporting production with correct supplies, tools and equipment

• Support machine set up by supplying print plates, cutting dies and ink
• Monitor, report and control all tooling damageAbility to work and repair print plates and cutting dies
• Flexibility to work on converting machines when required
• Organize ink racks, die racks, print plates and keep up with housekeepingExperience/Education/Certification Requirements
• Minimum 3 years experience working in corrugated manufacturing plant as tooling or production supportPerforms a variety of tasks.

Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Adheres to production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals. Reports any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.

• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED.Candidates are

MATHEMATICAL

SKILLSAble to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.

REASONING

ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.

LANGUAGE

SKILLSAble to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
