Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Salesman to drive growth and expand our market presence in the asphalt and paving industry. This energetic professional will leverage their extensive sales background to develop new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and foster long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong negotiation skills, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Your expertise in outside sales, territory management, and technical product knowledge will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and elevating our brand reputation. Cultivate new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, cold calling, and networking within the asphalt industry. Manage existing client accounts by providing tailored solutions, upselling products, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase asphalt solutions and benefits to prospective clients. Develop strategic territory plans to maximize sales coverage, identify market trends, and expand our customer base. Collaborate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads. Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze performance metrics. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while maintaining profitability and fostering long-term partnerships. Proven experience in outside sales within the B2B (business-to-business) environment, preferably in construction materials or related industries. Strong management skills with a track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills to build trust and close deals effectively. Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and account management. Demonstrated ability to manage territories efficiently through strategic planning and analysis skills. Knowledge of asphalt products, technical sales processes, and industry standards is highly desirable. Ability to perform cold calling, conduct product demos, and upsell solutions confidently in a competitive market.
