Experience Dog Handler

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dog Handler to join our team dedicated to animal care. In this role, you will be responsible for handling and caring for dogs in a professional setting, ensuring their well-being while providing exceptional service to clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals, utilizing your pet care skills to make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities Reliability/attendance is the upmost important part of this position as it will enable and ensure appropriate care for our dogs. Enjoy the outside elements as this position will take place mainly in the outside play areas. Capable of having a strong understanding of a dog's body language in order to maintain a peaceful environment with the pets you are caring for. Maintain a clean and safe area for the dogs. Communcation. Able to discuss and inform your peers of any issues or concerns regarding behavior of the dogs or management techniques. Develop bonds with the pets you spend time with. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling large or energetic dogs safely. Interacting with pet owners to discuss the behaviors and interaction with other pets.

Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
