Job description About the Role Superior Performance Auto is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and values a team-focused environment. This role is ideal for a strong B-level technician through A-level technician who wants to continue growing their skills while also supporting and mentoring others on the team. If you're someone who cares about quality repairs, transparency, and staying sharp in a constantly evolving industry — we want to meet you.
What You'll Do:
Perform a wide range of automotive repairs and services, from general service through engine swaps and repairs. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns accurately and efficiently. Complete thorough digital vehicle inspections on every assigned vehicle. Perform major repairs including (but not limited to): Engine repairs and diagnostics. Timing belts and chains. Medium to major electrical repairs. Water pumps and bolt-on repairs. Assist and support other technicians with diagnostics, repairs, and skill development as needed. Build accurate repair tickets and documentation. Maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with service advisors during vehicle check-ins when needed.What We're Looking For:
8+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Experience performing advanced mechanical and electrical repairs. Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment. Comfortable using scan tools and modern diagnostic equipment. Desire to keep learning and growing with industry advancements.Required:
Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation. Your own toolbox and tools. ASE certifications preferred (not required). Bonus Skills (Not Required, But a Plus): Focus in European vehicles.Advanced diagnostics:
electrical, computer body control systems, noise/vibration. Internal engine or transmission repair experience. Ability to navigate multiple diagnostic software platforms. Experience mentoring or training other technicians.Work Schedule & Environment:
4-day work week. No weekends. Workday ends at 6:00 PM. State-of-the-art equipment and diagnostic software provided. Weekly team meetings where every voice matters. Weekly one-on-one check-ins with leadership.Superior Benefits:
