Experienced Barista 3+ Years Required | High-Volume Bakery Café

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team as a permanent member in a fast-paced bakery/ coffee shop - applicants must possess at least three full-years of hands-on barista experience and value outstanding customer service in a high-volume shop. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to engage with customers, handle cash transactions, and maintain a clean workspace will contribute to the overall success of our shop. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and register operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining spaces. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages. Operate POS systems effectively, including square POS, to process orders and payments. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times. Experience Previous experience of at least three full years as a barista is required. References must be available for contact if the job is offered. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience with cash handling and sales is advantageous. A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and bakery menu offerings is essential.
