Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring each is crafted to perfection. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and answering questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities by processing cash transactions and giving correct change with basic math skills. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring food safety protocols are followed at all times. Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking between serving, cleaning, and restocking supplies. Requirements Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Willingness to perform cleaning duties regularly to maintain hygiene standards in the café environment. Previous experience in beverage service or coffee preparation is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
