Experienced CAD Dental Technician

The Ottawa Dental Laboratory is a full-service dental lab. We specialize in both fixed and removable dental restorations. We are seeking a dynamic candidate for the position of Experienced CAD Designer at our location in Greendale, WI. This position is responsible for digital design and fabrication of dental restorations according to prescription requests.

Job Responsibilities:

Design dental restorations using CAD software such as 3Shape Dental System, exocad or similar platforms Create crowns, bridges, implants, custom abutments, veneers, inlays/onlays, and full-arch restorations based on doctor's prescription requests Review and evaluate digital impressions (e.g. iTero) for accuracy and completeness Perform quality control checks to ensure fit, function, and esthetics Ensure proper material selection (zirconia, E Max, PMMA) and design parameters for each Apply a strong understanding of dental morphology, occlusion, and marginal integrity to ensure minimal chairside adjustments Mentor and guide junior technicians in addressing technical questions and design challenges Responsible for carrying out daily production requirements Responsible for the organization, prioritizing and planning of daily workload Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain organized and clean work area

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Experience:

CAD Design:

Minimum 4+ years experience in a dental lab setting, specifically focused on 3Shape CAD software (Required) CDT is plus! We will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
