Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Clamp, Slip Sheet, Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy equipment with precision and efficiency to load, unload, and move materials throughout our distribution center. Your expertise in handling various types of forklifts—including clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks—will ensure smooth warehouse operations. You will play a key part in maintaining safety standards, optimizing inventory management, and supporting seamless shipping and receiving processes. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift equipment such as clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments efficiently Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements accurately and update stock records in real-time Perform routine equipment inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal operation of all heavy machinery Handle materials with precision using appropriate equipment for heavy lifting, slip sheets, or pallets while adhering to OSHA safety standards Assist with order picking tasks using various equipment including reach trucks and order picker machines to fulfill customer orders accurately Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipment contents against documentation and ensuring proper storage or dispatching of goods Maintain a clean, organized work environment by following warehouse distribution protocols and safety procedures at all times Experience Proven experience operating clamp trucks, slip sheet machines, sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks in a warehouse or distribution setting Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting Previous experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership is a plus but not required Familiarity with order picking techniques using specialized equipment such as pickers or order picker machines Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and weight assessments Join our team as an Experienced Clamp, Slip Sheet, Sit-Down Forklift Operator if you're passionate about moving goods efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards.
