Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Stable Hand, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of our animals and farm facilities. This energetic position involves hands-on animal care, equipment operation, and facility maintenance to ensure a thriving environment for livestock and equine residents. This position is Friday & Saturday PM shift and Sunday Am. Start Times are flexible. Additional hours are often available. Duties Feed, water, and monitor the health of horses, livestock, and other farm animals daily, ensuring proper nutrition and care. Assist with grooming, exercising, and handling animals safely using appropriate animal handling techniques. ability to move feed, supplies, or materials around the property. Maintain cleanliness of stables, pens, and surrounding areas to promote animal health and prevent disease. collaborate with team members on a variety of needed tasks. REQUIRED

; familiarity with caring for different types of farm animals is a plus. Demonstrated supervising experience in farm or agricultural settings is preferred. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as tractors, and power tools safely and efficiently is a plus. Strong animal handling skills combined with a solid understanding of animal behavior and needs. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring stamina over extended periods. Basic math skills for measuring feed quantities or calculating supplies is required; familiarity with farm machinery operation is advantageous.
