We take pride in craftsmanship, reliability, and delivering projects on time and on budget. We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team.

Position Overview:

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete on a variety of projects including foundations, slabs, driveways, sidewalks, patios, and commercial flatwork. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can work efficiently in a team environment. Responsibilities Set forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, hand/power trowels, floats, and screeds Monitor weather conditions and ensure proper curing techniques Apply finishing techniques such as broom, stamped, stained, or smooth finishes Cut control joints and ensure proper alignment and grade Repair and patch existing concrete Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience as a concrete finisher Strong knowledge of concrete placement and finishing techniques Ability to read blueprints and understand grades/slopes Experience with residential and commercial projects preferred Ability to work in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation Valid driver's license required Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on hands and knees for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for overtime Consistent, year-round work Opportunities for advancement Paid time off (if applicable) Paid holidays How to Apply Apply by calling (276)733-9173 or emailing your resume to info@payneconstructionandconcrete.com.
