GED Teaching Full Job Description Job Title:
Experienced Childcare Teacher We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Teacher who has a genuine love and passion for working with children. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, creative, and proactive, with a nurturing and caring personality and the ability to provide a structured, engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for all children Closely supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being Tend to children's daily needs, including meals, hygiene, rest time, and emotional support Develop, plan, and implement a structured curriculum that supports early childhood development Create and lead age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth Follow and maintain a consistent daily schedule to provide structure and stability Think outside the box to design creative arts, crafts, and hands-on learning experiences Adapt curriculum and activities to meet the individual needs of each child Maintain a positive, organized, and well-managed classroom environment Take initiative and step in wherever needed to support the team and children Build and maintain positive relationships with children and parents Communicate effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff regarding progress and daily activities
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old HS Diploma or GED Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred Strong understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate curriculum planning Patient, dependable, and highly energetic Loving, caring, and attentive to children's needs Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging lesson plans and activities Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and staff Must be punctual and reliable, with consistent attendance Must pass a background check Willingness to complete all required DHS training and classes Must have reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to bend, lift, and move actively throughout the day Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Some overtime may be available
Compensation:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
