You'll assist dentists with a variety of treatments, ensure a welcoming environment for patients, and maintain our high standards for patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist dentist or hygienist during treatments and escort patients to/from treatment rooms Take and develop dental x-rays Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict sanitation protocols Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatments Provide follow-up instructions and schedule future appointments Handle emergencies by following established protocols Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in daily huddles, team meetings, and training workshops Manage inventory and supplies while limiting waste Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulationsMinimum Qualifications:
Previous dental assistant experience required Proficiency with dental practice management software preferred (Dentrix Enterprise) Certified Dental Assistant and CPR Certification preferredKey Qualities We're Looking For:
Strong patient-service orientation with empathy for patients in discomfort Excellent verbal communication and listening skills Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Self-motivated with strong follow-through skillsOther Details:
