We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Manual Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and set up manual machining equipment to produce precision components according to detailed specifications. Your expertise in mechanical processes, blueprint interpretation, and measurement tools will ensure the highest quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and a passion for craftsmanship. Duties Operate manual lathes, milling machines, and other machining tools to produce parts with tight tolerances Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate fabrication Set up and calibrate machinery using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to maintain optimal performance Use hand tools, power tools, and tooling to complete machining tasks efficiently Read and analyze engineering drawings to determine machining sequences and required dimensions Measure finished components with precision instruments to verify conformance with specifications Assist in assembly processes when necessary, including welding and fitting parts together Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety protocols Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing practices Requirements Proven experience as an Manual Machinist with extensive hands-on knowledge of CNC programming is a plus but not mandatory Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of manufacturing processes including plastics injection molding Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with CNC lathe and CNC milling machines; experience with Fanuc controls preferred Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM), CAM programming, and SolidWorks or CAD software is advantageous Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and tolerances Experience with welding, assembly, power tools, forklift operation, and tooling management is beneficial Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance practices within a manufacturing environment Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team If you are an experienced manual machinist eager to apply your technical expertise in a dynamic manufacturing setting, we encourage you to submit your application today.
