Position Summary Lux Fur Mobile Pet Grooming is seeking an experienced and motivated Pet Groomer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of professional grooming experience, excellent handling skills, strong communication abilities, and the confidence to independently operate a mobile grooming van. This position requires someone who is dependable, professional, organized, and able to provide exceptional grooming services while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Requirements Minimum of 3 years professional pet grooming experience Ability to groom all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Strong knowledge of breed-specific cuts and grooming techniques Must possess a valid driver's license Clean driving record required Comfortable driving and maneuvering a mobile grooming van safely and efficiently Ability to work independently and manage appointments throughout the day Excellent customer service and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle pets safely Passion for animal care and creating a positive grooming experience Responsibilities Perform full grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and de-shedding treatments Safely handle pets with patience, care, and compassion Drive and operate the mobile grooming van responsibly and professionally Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grooming van and equipment Manage daily grooming appointments and stay on schedule Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding grooming requests and pet needs Monitor pets for any health concerns and report findings to owners Provide a luxury customer experience that reflects the Lux Fur brand Maintain grooming tools and equipment in proper working condition Qualifications Professional grooming certification preferred but not required Experience working in a fast-paced grooming environment Strong scissoring and finishing skills Ability to remain calm and patient with anxious or difficult pets Self-motivated and trustworthy Comfortable working alone in a mobile setting What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Tips Flexible scheduling opportunities Supportive and positive work environment Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding luxury mobile grooming business Fully equipped grooming van and tools provided
