We're currently seeking an Experienced Roofer who takes pride in their work and is open to learning historic roofing using traditional methods and delivering high-quality work. What You'll Do Install, repair, and restore traditional slate, tile and copper roofing systems Work with natural slate, clay tile, copper flashing, and related materials Perform detailed craftsmanship on historic and architecturally significant buildings Maintain safe, professional job sites and follow company safety standards Collaborate with a team of highly skilled craftspeople and preservation specialists Travel to various job sites with paid travel time and logistics support provided What We're Looking For 3+ years roofing experience (historic slate preferred, not required) Strong knowledge of roofing installation, repair techniques, and flashing details Comfort working at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license with no more than 4 points, ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check Commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism Desire for a long-term career in historic preservation roofing Compensation Competitive pay , based on experience and skill level Performance-based advancement opportunities Paid travel time between job sites Benefits Paid in-house and on-the-job training (including advanced slate techniques) Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance after 90 days (Employer pays 50%) 401(k) retirement plan Quarterly bonuses for perfect attendance and meeting targets Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Promotions based on performance , not tenure Travel logistics and support to make multi-site projects seamless If you're an experienced slate roofer who values craftsmanship, safety, and pride in your work , we want to hear from you.
