Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Technician

We are looking to add to our team an energetic, enthusiastic, and empathetic veterinary assistant or technician. As an assistant, you will assist the doctors in outpatient appointments, preparing samples, taking medical history, preparing vaccines, animal restraint (large and small animals), and lifting and moving up to 45 lbs. You will also be involved in surgical patient recovery. A friendly and positive attitude is a must. 6 MONTHS

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IN A VET CLINIC SETTING.

We are looking at hiring someone 35-38 hours per week. You MUST be available and flexible to work any hours we are open (Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri 7:30am-5:30pm and Wed 7:30am-7pm). Please to not apply if you are not available those hours. Your starting wage will depend on your education and experience. The wage listed is only for the first level of training. We have an extensive training program where as you work through the levels you can get raises as you level up. Your first review/raise will be at 6 weeks, and then every 6 months thereafter.
