Position Overview:

Rangefront Mining Services is seeking an experienced Field Geologist to join our team and support a variety of ongoing and upcoming projects across the western U.S. This role will work across multiple sites, including California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah, depending on project needs. This position is ideal for a geologist with strong field experience who can operate independently, contribute to mapping and reporting efforts, and step into core logging responsibilities as needed. The role offers consistent, full-time work across diverse projects with the opportunity to build long-term career stability within Rangefront. Key Responsibilities Perform geologic mapping and field investigations across multiple active projects Prepare detailed, accurate technical reports and documentation Support and perform core logging and sampling as needed Collect, compile, and interpret geological data to support exploration and development work Ensure consistency and quality in data collection and field execution Communicate findings clearly with internal teams and project stakeholders Work independently in the field while maintaining strong collaboration with the broader team Adhere to all company safety standards, SOPs, and project requirements Travel regularly to project sites across CA, CO, ID, NV, and CA based on operational needs Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field 5-7 years of field geology experience, preferably in mining or mineral exploration Strong experience with geologic mapping and report writing Willingness and ability to perform core logging when needed Self-motivated with the ability to manage work independently across changing projects Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Work Environment & Expectations Travel-based role supporting multiple projects across the western U.S. Field-heavy position with varying schedules depending on project demands Ability to work in remote locations and challenging outdoor conditions Flexibility to work extended hours when required What We Offer Competitive pay (DOE) and per diem.
