Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the accounting operations of a growing privately held company. The Staff Accountant will assist with month-end close, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting/budget updates, compliance reporting and daily accounting activities . This position requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of accounting experience in a private company environment and is comfortable working in a hands-on accounting department where responsibilities span multiple accounting functions. This position offers growth opportunities into Senior Accountant responsibilities as the company continues to expand.

Privately held, 140 employees Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reports Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice review and payment tracking Monitor and record daily cash activity and perform cash reconciliations Assist with expense tracking and accruals Support preparation of documentation for external accountants, tax filings, and audits Maintain organized accounting records and documentation Assist with improving accounting procedures and internal controls Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Experience 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in private industry Technical Skills Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (QuickBooks Desktop) Professional Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively BenefitsQualityLogic offers competitive salaries and benefits, including first-rate medical, dental, and vision insurance.
