Duties Safely handle and transport food from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring quality and presentation standards are maintained. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes to meet restaurant specifications. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers using clear, professional language to coordinate timely food delivery. Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Support servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order accuracy when necessary. Help with setup and breakdown of banquet or special event service areas to ensure smooth operations. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with food handling, preparation, and safety protocols is essential. Experience working with POS systems like Aloha or Micros enhances efficiency in this role. Prior banquet service or catering experience is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work seamlessly within a team are vital for success. Hotel or culinary experience can provide valuable background knowledge for this position. Demonstrated commitment to guest services and hospitality excellence is highly desirable.
