Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be the heart of our kitchen, transforming fresh ingredients into delicious, beautifully presented dishes that delight our guests. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute to creating an inviting dining experience, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and flavor. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen workflow during busy periods Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the safety of all food served Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and seasonal specials Assist with catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring high-quality service and presentation Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff Experience with dietary department guidelines or dietary aide experience is a plus Familiarity with menu planning, food service operations, and catering is highly desirable Join us as a Line Cook and bring your passion for culinary excellence to life!
