Express Service Advisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive team! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and professionally as they arrive, establishing a positive rapport from the outset Listen carefully to customers' concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance services, including auto diagnostics and mechanical assessments Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire service, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs and maintenance recommendations Prepare accurate auto estimating and service writing documentation to facilitate smooth workflow between technicians and customers Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services like oil changes, wheel alignments, suspension work, and engine diagnostics Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive repair processes including mechanical knowledge of brakes, suspensions, shocks & struts, tire service, and other essential systems Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote ongoing vehicle maintenance needs Experience Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures across various systems such as transmissions, brakes and suspensions. Demonstrated ability in auto estimating software and service writing with excellent attention to detail Experience in upselling services like oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, wheel balancing, and other routine maintenance tasks Customer service expertise with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships with clients Mechanical experience or background as a service technician is advantageous for better understanding of vehicle repairs Familiarity with automotive repair terminology including shocks & struts replacement Join us in delivering outstanding automotive care! $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
