Part-Time Cashier

Part-Time Cashier Home Furniture Plus Bedding Are you friendly, dependable, and great with people? Home Furniture Plus Bedding is looking for a Part-Time Cashier to join our team in Baton Rouge at our Julia Aubin location. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying organized, and being part of a fast-paced retail environment. We are seeking someone available to work 20-29 hours per week , including weekend availability . As a Cashier, you play an important role in creating a positive customer experience. You'll assist customers at checkout, support the sales team, and help keep front-end operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

Process cash, card, and financing transactions accurately Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Answer phones and direct calls as needed Assist with paperwork, receipts, and basic administrative tasks Support store operations and help where needed Work closely with the sales and management team

What We're Looking For:

Positive attitude and strong customer service skills Comfortable using computers and learning new systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Weekend availability required Prior cashier, retail, or office experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:
