Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 8th grade during the Extended School Year (ESY) period. This position, based near Lake Bluff, IL, offers the chance to make a genuine impact in a school setting by providing critical speech-language services. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Illinois SLP license Professional Educator License (PEL) required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred Experience with school-aged populations, particularly serving PreK through 8th grade Familiarity with ESY (Extended School Year) programs a plus Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in PreK-8th grade during the ESY program Assess and document student progress toward IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement Provide therapy sessions for 12 hours per week from June 10th, 2026, through June 2nd, 2026 Develop and implement effective, personalized intervention strategies Maintain accurate and timely student records in accordance with school district policies and state requirements This contract role is perfectly designed for professionals seeking a focused summer commitment while making a strong impact on students' growth.
