SEMPER FIT EMPLOYEE ASSIGNMENT INFORMATION

Incumbent is assigned to one or more specialized recreional activities within the Semper Fit Division. Each employee assigned to their primary work locion but may be required to work in other Semper Fit program based on operional needs. Ancillary Semper Fit programs include The Barn, Semper Fit Center, HITT Center, Miramar Sports Complex, F45 Program, 50M Pool, Golf Course, PARC, Bob Hope Theer, ITT, and Auto Skills. Cross training provided accordingly. Hours of operion for each facility vary and work each locion will include nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift differential pay appropriely applied.

MAJOR DUTIES FOR F45 PERSONAL TRAINER - FITNESS SPECIALIST

Provides physical fitness training to authorized prons to include Active Duty, Retirees, Family Members, and Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian employees for the F45 program. Organizes and conducts physical fitness assessments such as screening and risk strificion, measurement and evaluion of an individual's aerobic capacity, body f percentage, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, blood pressure, and interpretion of assessment results. Develops an individualized exercise plan based on physical fitness assessment. Responsible for individual and/or groups instruction on fitness and implemention and maintenance of a comprehensive fitness program to improve aerobic fitness, muscular fitness, body composition and flexibility. Will instruct prons in proper use of exercise equipment while training and how to self-monitor progress either verbally or by composing written instructions for use of equipment, safety, and well-being. Coordines with command representives to develop and implement physical fitness programming for Active-Duty military personnel. Incumbent will work with populions deemed to be healthy, with no health risk factors, and who were not referred by a physician. Will be required to run the front desk when not providing personal training or teaching F45 classes or events. Duties include but not limited to entering da into RecTrac, registering prons for classes, collecting fees, maintaining tendance records, and keeping track of resale inventory. Will record customer transactions/sales with accuracy and within established guidelines. Assists in cleaning and maintaining exercise equipment in proper condition. May be required to submit Construction Maintenance work orders & Maximo requests as needed for the facility and complete approprie accounting records as required. May be responsible for opening and/or closing of the facility and securing cash drawer funds the end of the day. Assists in cleaning and maintaining exercise equipment in proper condition. Ensures adherence to safety rules and regulions. Helps to plan and coordine recreional activities and assists in the maintenance of reled supplies. Assists in planning, scheduling, and publicizing various activities to tract and motive participants. Incumbent will serve as a role model and team lead when area supervisor is not on site. Relays instructions gets work started and sets the pace. Will perform supervisory duties in an emergency, or short-term and nonrecurring basis. Provides exceptional customer service, and upholds high service standards using respect, courtesy, professionalism, and teamwork. Takes initiive to solve problems quickly but recognizes when to seek assistance to resolve issues. Collabores in a professional, supportive, and proactive manner. Adheres to safety regulions and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupional illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immedie supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance. Performs other reled duties as assigned. EVALUATIONS

Qualificions High school diploma or GED required. One year of experience within the health/fitness industry is preferred. Candide must possess and maintain a basic level certificion from a nionally accredited certifying organizion. A certificion from one of the following associions is required. Internional Sports Sciences Associion (ISSA) - Preferred Certificion for F45 American Council on Exercise (ACE) American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Nional Associion of Sports Medicine (NASM) Nional Strength & Conditioning Associion (NSCA) Candide must be able to demonstre knowledge of and skill to administer fitness assessments, progressive individual fitness plans and proper exercise techniques. Knowledge of established exercise principles, concepts, and techniques to plan and conduct fitness testing, interpret results, and develop fitness plans. Candide must possess a current First Aid, CPR, and AED certificion from the American Heart Associion or American Red Cross or obtain within 6 months of hire. Additional informion
