Position Overview Tekberry is seeking multiple Facilities Inspectors to support our client within Residential & Dining Enterprises (R DE). This short-term project supports student housing turnover by conducting detailed inspections, documenting damages, coordinating maintenance follow-up, and ensuring all units are prepared for incoming residents. Responsibilities Conduct thorough room and facility inspections to assess condition, damages, safety concerns, and missing items Document findings and support damage assessment and billing processes using provided tools and guidelines Enter, track, and follow up on maintenance work orders Coordinate with custodial teams, vendors, and housing staff to resolve deficiencies Perform inventory checks and verify furniture, fixtures, and room readiness Monitor vendor progress and confirm completion of maintenance and cleaning tasks Generate reports and maintain accurate documentation in internal systems Adhere to R DE safety protocols and operational standards Support additional facility-related projects as assigned Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent + 1+ year of relevant experience (or equivalent) Strong attention to detail and accuracy (critical for damage documentation and reporting) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly Preferred Qualifications Experience in facilities, property management, housing operations, or hospitality Experience with inspections, turnover processes, or work order systems Valid California Driver's License (a plus; minimal driving required) Work Environment & Requirements 100% onsite role in student housing and facilities environment Frequent walking, standing, and stair use throughout the day Work areas may include clean residential spaces as well as units in transition or under maintenance Occasional extended hours or weekend work based on project needs Minimal driving (< 5%) We need hard-working, reliable employees.
