Perform and assist with intermediate-level maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. Ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation of building infrastructure including but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems and production support equipment. Perform preventative maintenance, respond to maintenance requests and assist with facility improvement projects.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine to intermediate maintenance and repair on facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical equipment. Perform various preventative maintenance tasks which on building systems and/or facility equipment. Troubleshoot and repair building infrastructure, machinery and support equipment. Repair structural elements such as doors, walls, floors, ceilings and fixtures. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to identify and diagnose machine malfunctions. Support production operations by maintaining facility utilities and infrastructure. Assist with installation, relocation and/or modification of manufacturing equipment. May perform welding to repair facility equipment, racks, carts, frames and/or structural components. Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments. Perform general cleaning of facilities, including internal and external. May monitor and assist vendors and contractors performing maintenance on site. Perform routine tasks such as painting, wall repair, plumbing, and light electrical. Assist with office moves, renovations, stocking supplies and other similar tasks. Maintain clean and orderly work environment. Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand, and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals, and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback. High school diploma or General Education Development (GED). Minimum five (5) years industrial maintenance experience or equivalent of education and experience. Experience with MIG, TIG or stick welding and basic metal fabrication. Technical or trade school experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of standard and intermediate hand tool use. Welding experience preferred. Ability to understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures. Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions. Ability to multi-task and work independently. Ability to perform routine to advanced maintenance. Perform preparation and operate draw bench to draw metal rods into specified shapes and diameter. May perform a variety of general tasks including but not limited to coating, deburring, loading and moving material or tubes throughout facility.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIIBILITIES
Prepare metal rod/tube for the cleaning, pointing/swaging and draw bench processes. Manually position and secure specified die and place metal rod/tube into draw bench. Manually move levers and buttons to set draw speed and operation. Inserts pointed end of rod through die and into holding jaws. Manually place long metal tubes into pointer machine for swaging process. Manually coat material/tubes with lubricating chemical. May mix chemicals to create lubrication. May perform cutting metal material by use of chop/abrasive saw. Provide assistance in department functions. May move parts from one operation to another throughout facility or within the department. Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications. Observe and monitor machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction. May measure work piece dimensions. Maintain clean and orderly work environment. Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback. POSITION SUMMARY
This position will support both production equipment and facility infrastructure in a precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations across the plant. This role supports production uptime by ensuring all electrical components, machinery, and control systems operate safely and efficiently in a high-performance environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and automation equipment. Troubleshoot electrical issues in CNC machines, extrusion equipment, and other manufacturing systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and electromechanical equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Maintain and repair facility electrical systems, including lighting, panels, transformers, and power distribution. Perform basic electrical device parameter setup, such as setting up new drives or meters and programming the parameters. Troubleshooting to determine root cause of machine, electrical and control system or process failure. Identify and replace defective electrical components. Read error and fault codes. Inspect and maintain electrical panels, breakers, and disconnects to ensure code compliance. Support facility upgrades, expansions, and layout changes (conduit, wiring, new circuits). Identify and correct electrical hazards and ensure compliance with NEC and OSHA standards. Coordinate with contractors for facility-related electrical work. Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, and system changes. Determine new machine installation electrical requirements. May monitor and assist vendors and contractors performing maintenance on site. Perform routine tasks such as painting, wall repair, plumbing, and light electrical. Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
