Up to $56/hour (Experience required) About Us Victoria Post Acute Care is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility located in El Cajon, California, dedicated to providing high quality care through compassion, teamwork, and clinical excellence. Our team supports residents across long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and memory care services throughout the East County community. We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with skilled nursing or healthcare experience who is clinically strong, patient focused, and passionate about improving functional outcomes. Position Summary As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in helping patients regain independence in daily activities and improve their overall function and quality of life. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions in a collaborative care environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining a high standard of care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on functional needs Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home exercise programs Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards Qualifications Active Occupational Therapist license in California required Minimum of 1 year of experience required Skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and patient care skills Compassionate, dependable, and patient focused What We Offer 401(k) with employer support Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off and paid sick leave Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for training and advancement Ready to Join Our Team?
