Facilities & Operations Support

Position Overview Bickford Ford is seeking a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Facilities & Operations Support Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, organization, and overall upkeep of our dealership campus and Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Facility. This role is extremely important to the daily operation and presentation of our business. The right candidate takes pride in maintaining clean facilities, organized work areas, safe conditions, and a professional environment for both customers and employees. Primary responsibilities focus on facility cleanliness, restroom upkeep, floor care, trash removal, shop organization, and general facility support. Once core responsibilities are completed, this role may also assist with light porter, lot, or operational support duties as needed. We are looking for someone who notices what needs to be done without being asked and takes ownership of their work every day. Primary Responsibilities Facility & Custodial Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness throughout dealership buildings and service facilities Clean and sanitize restrooms multiple times daily Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors and walkways Empty trash and recycling throughout the dealership and shop Maintain customer waiting areas, offices, hallways, breakrooms, and conference rooms Clean glass doors, windows, counters, and high-touch areas Keep shop support and technician areas organized and clean Refill restroom and facility supplies as needed Facility Upkeep & Maintenance Assist with light handyman and maintenance tasks Identify and report facility, safety, or maintenance concerns Help maintain organized storage and supply areas Monitor and order supplies as needed Support overall dealership appearance standards inside and outside the buildings Maintain exterior walkways, entrances, and common areas Operational & Lot Support Assist with porter or lot support duties when facility responsibilities are completed Support vehicle movement or operational tasks as requested Help maintain clean and organized lot presentation Qualifications Prior custodial, facilities, janitorial, maintenance, porter, or dealership experience preferred Strong work ethic and reliability Self-motivated with good attention to detail Able to work independently and stay productive Comfortable working in both customer-facing and shop environments Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly Positive attitude and team-first mindset Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Takes pride in cleanliness and organization Notices details others miss Maintains urgency without needing constant supervision Helps create a safe and professional environment Is dependable, consistent, and willing to help where needed Benefits Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off 401(k) Stable long-term opportunity Modern Ford Pro Elite facility Team-oriented environment
