Job Description

Mountain View Family Dentistry is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Dental Assistant to join our team full-time ! Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside during all dental procedures , including restorative, surgical, and preventive care Oversee and coordinate the dental assisting team , including scheduling, training, and mentoring staff Ensure infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols are followed in compliance with
OSHA/WISHA
standards Manage and maintain clinical supplies, inventory, and equipment Perform digital X-rays, intraoral scans, and other diagnostic imaging Document patient treatment accurately in Eaglesoft , including charting, progress notes, and treatment plans Help coordinate patient care , including treatment planning, appointment scheduling, and follow-up Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment instructions Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements Assist with office workflow , ensuring smooth transitions between patients and procedures Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate repairs or service as needed Lead team meetings or huddles , communicating updates, protocols, and priorities Qualifications Current Washington State Dental Assistant registration (RDA or DA as applicable) X-ray certification (required) CPR/BLS certification (required) Minimum 2-3 years of dental assisting experience (lead or senior role preferred) Experience assisting in general dentistry procedures (restorative, crown & bridge, extractions, endo, etc.) Strong knowledge of infection control, sterilization, and
OSHA/WISHA
standards Proficiency with Eaglesoft dental software (charting, treatment notes, scheduling, imaging) Experience with digital X-rays and intraoral cameras Ability to lead and support the assisting team , including training and mentoring Strong organization and time-management skills Excellent chairside manner and patient communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude

$32.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
