Job Description

Join a Team That Keeps Things Running Opportunity Living is looking for a dependable and hardworking Facilities Technician to help maintain our buildings, vehicles, equipment, and grounds while supporting transportation services for individuals with disabilities. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, solving problems, working independently, and helping others. What We Offer Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k retirement Paid time off Holiday pay Stable full-time hours Supportive team environment Meaningful work that makes a difference Opportunities for training and growth Job Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair duties for buildings and grounds Assist with transportation of clients as needed Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance Help maintain Opportunity Living vehicles and complete required documentation Assist with maintenance of wheelchairs, adaptive equipment, and therapy equipment Work with departments to address maintenance and transportation needs Help ensure facilities remain safe, clean, and operational Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines Participate in required trainings and safety programs Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Maintenance or transportation experience preferred Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge preferred CDL preferred, or willingness to obtain Ability to lift, move, and work in a physically active environment Strong problem-solving and communication skills Must have a sincere desire to work with individuals with disabilities Must pass required background checks and trainings
