Facility Maintenance / Maintenance Mechanic - 1st Shift

Shift:

1st Primary hours: 6:00am-2:30pm or 9:00am - 5:30pm

Job Description:

A maintenance mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery, plumbing, physical structure, and also seasonal maintenance.

Typical Duties:

Typical duties will include but not be limited to the preparation and/or modification of the following: Services equipment used by oiling, greasing, and perform preventative maintenance Soldering small electrical connection & assembling electrical components. Can take instructions on building metal cabinets & drilling into stainless steel. Understands how to thread together & assemble small pipe. Can work in a maintenance shop atmosphere, non-air conditioned. Makes minor repairs to lab and office equipment Operates forklifts and other basic loading tools Must be able to work independently Equipment experience, preferred: In-Line Mixers/Milling High Pressure Pumps Mig/Tig Welding Liquid Filling Systems Electronic Systems Hydraulic Systems Electrical Schematics Service Operations Overseeing Building/Grounds Maintenance Experience in performing maintenance on variety of LPG & electric fork lifts Scissor lift inspection & maintenance Fork lift Safety inspections 36 Volt battery inspection & maintenance Willing to work overtime & Saturdays as needed Tools provided

Skills and Requirements:

High school diploma, required Valid Driver's License 4 year Undergraduate Degree in Engineering or related field, preferred Certified forklift driver, preferred, but will train on company equipment Ability to comply with our company policies for safety Ability to lift 50 lbs

Compensation:

Dependent on experience.
