Job Description
Compensation:
$28 per hour, plus quarterly performance bonuses of up to $12,000 per year based on clear, measurable, and attainable KPIs, health insurance, 401(k) match, and optional dental and vision coverage. The Abeel Firm PLLC is a growing divorce and family law firm in Williamsville, New York. We help clients move from chaos and conflict toward clarity, stability, and forward momentum through calm professionalism, disciplined strategy, and strong advocacy. We are hiring an experienced Family Law Paralegal who wants to do meaningful work in a professional, high-standard environment where their contribution matters. This is not a "just keep up" role. $28 per hour plus performance bonusesResponsibilities:
Manage family law case files from intake through resolution, keeping matters organized and moving forward Draft legal documents, including net worth statements, correspondence, stipulations, and uncontested divorce packets Handle e-filing through EDDS and NYSCEF Organize client documents, financial records, and case-related information Track court dates, deadlines, adjournments, and next steps across active matters Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties Help prepare files and materials, so matters are ready for conferences, hearings, and next steps Identify ways to improve workflows, checklists, templates, and internal systems to support consistent, high-quality workQualifications:
2+ years of family law paralegal experience strongly preferred Experience managing case files and drafting documents in an active legal practice Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines reliably and work independently Calm, professional, and effective communication skills A proactive mindset: you notice what needs to happen next and help keep matters moving Comfort with timekeeping, accountability, and structured workflows Experience with tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Clio, Filevine, Asana, or similar cloud-based systems is a plus Compensation $28 per hour Performance bonuses Health insurance 401(k) match Optional dental and vision coverage About Company Why Join The Abeel Firm PLLC We are building a high-performance divorce and family law firm designed to help people through one of the hardest transitions of their lives with clarity, professionalism, and steady judgment.
