About the Facility Location Washington offers diverse outdoor recreation opportunities, from Mt. Rainier National Park highlights tours to hiking trails at Mt. St. Helens including the Lava Canyon Trail and Ape Cave exploration. The region features marine activities in Puget Sound with whale watching tours near Anacortes, while the surrounding mountains provide year-round options for hiking, skiing, and camping. Industrial attractions include Boeing Factory tours, complementing the area's natural landscapes and water-based recreation. About the Clinician's Workday The physician associate will provide comprehensive occupational medicine services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 20-25 patients daily with 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care. Clinical responsibilities include diagnosing and treating work-related injuries, performing pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for private companies and governmental agencies, and evaluating urgent care patients on a walk-in basis. The position requires DOT certification prior to starting and involves completing all documentation in a timely manner while maintaining professional behaviors. New clinicians receive one week of orientation alongside a permanent physician before working independently.
