Farm Assistant

Seeking an experienced and trustworthy individual to assist with the daily operations on a working family farm. Must be able to work independently in all weather conditions. Must possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable MVR.

Responsible for:

Providing meals and water to chickens, pigs and cows Collecting and packaging chicken eggs Cleaning animal pens and trash pickup Potential hand harvesting of produce Weeding, pest management, and general farm upkeep Ability to operate UTVs and tractors with bushhog and discs, weed removal, limbing trees, ditch work Assist with the repair, service, and maintenance of farm equipment including the prep, cleaning, lubrication, assembly, inspection, and dismantling of equipment parts May repair fences, farm buildings and other structures, or perform irrigation activities Stocking corn and maintenance of deer hunting stands Maintenance and general upkeep of duck blinds Keeping firewood stocked Receiving and unloading of deliveries Running errands in company provided vehicle Other duties as assigned Monday through Friday schedule with some flexibility Full Company Benefits to include Health Insurance, 401(k) Plan Match and Paid Time Off (PTO)
