Saturdays, 8:00 AM•1:00 PM (May-October) Additional weekday hours available for product preparation.

Position Overview:

Heartland is seeking a friendly, reliable, and self-motivated individual to assist with our vendor stand at the Cuyahoga Valley Farmers Market. The Farmers Market Assistant will represent Heartland on-site each Saturday, providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and promoting our products and mission. This role also includes opportunities to assist with production and packaging during the week.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and operate the Heartland vendor stand during market hours Pick up products and display materials from Heartland's main business location Transport items to and from the market site Set up and break down the market booth, including tent, table, and product displays Gain and maintain a working knowledge of Heartland products Engage customers in a friendly and informative manner Accurately process sales using a point-of-sale (POS) system (cash and credit) Assist with product preparation during the week (optional) Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Availability on Saturdays (May-October) Customer service experience preferred Basic computer and POS skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and transport materials and set up displays Self-motivated with a positive attitude Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check
