Full-Time, In-Person Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Feed Mill Operator to support daily feed production operations. This role is responsible for mixing livestock feed, operating feed mill equipment, preparing customer orders, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment. Accuracy and adherence to feed formulas are essential, as the products directly support livestock health and nutrition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mix livestock feed according to established formulas and production schedules
• Operate feed mill equipment including mixers, augers, conveyors, and bagging systems
• Prepare bulk, bagged, and retail feed orders
• Verify correct ingredients and quantities for all feed batches
• Monitor equipment to ensure proper blending and production efficiency
• Bag feed products and stage orders for delivery or customer pickup
• Assist with loading delivery trucks using feed handling equipment
• Receive and unload feed ingredients and supplies
• Monitor inventory levels and report needs to management
• Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation
• Keep feed mill areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all safety procedures when operating machinery and handling materials
• Assist customers with feed purchases as needed
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance issues
• Support general mill operations and assist team members as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including feed formulas
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to safely operate agricultural and feed mill equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds and perform physical labor Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a feed mill, grain elevator, or agricultural environment
• Knowledge of livestock feed ingredients and production processes
• Experience operating mixers, conveyors, augers, or similar equipment
• Agricultural background or familiarity with livestock operations
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday

Rotational Saturdays:

(Spring through Fall)

• Additional hours or holidays as needed to support feed operations
