Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Fertilizer Applicator Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting agricultural productivity and land management. This energetic position involves operating specialized farm machinery and power tools to accurately apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other soil amendments. Your expertise will help optimize crop yields, maintain healthy landscapes, and ensure safe, efficient application processes. Responsibilities Safely operate farm machinery, including sprayers, spreaders, and other equipment to apply fertilizers and pest control products across various terrains. Utilize hand tools and power tools to prepare equipment for application processes and perform routine maintenance. Conduct thorough inspections of land areas to determine appropriate application rates and identify potential hazards or obstacles. Follow detailed instructions for applying products accurately while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations. Maintain detailed records of application activities, including dates, locations, quantities used, and safety checks. Drive company vehicles responsibly to transport equipment between sites while observing all traffic laws and safety standards. Assist with general landscaping or farming tasks as needed to support overall land management objectives. Qualifications Prior experience in sales related to farming supplies, pest control products, or lawn care is a plus. Knowledge of pest control techniques and agricultural best practices. Familiarity with land management practices including farming or landscaping is highly desirable. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other relevant equipment safely and efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving large or specialized vehicles preferred. Basic understanding of agriculture principles or related fields such as farming or lawn care. Strong attention to detail with excellent safety awareness and adherence to protocols. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
