Welder/Fabricator - Production

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components to meet precise specifications and production schedules. Your expertise in various welding techniques and fabrication processes will contribute directly to the creation of high-quality products. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of metal components. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, bend, and assemble sheet metal and ductwork. Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments; apply basic math skills for calculations related to fabrication tasks. Operate rigging equipment, forklifts, and machinery safely to move materials or assembled components within the workspace. Follow safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors to ensure a secure working environment. Assist with pipe threading, soldering, machining, and assembly tasks as needed for project completion. Skills Proven experience in construction site environments or manufacturing facilities involving metal fabrication. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques; knowledge of specific welding standards preferred. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging gear safely. Familiarity with sheet metal work, ductwork fabrication, pipe threading, and assembly processes. Competence in using calipers, micrometers, schematics, and basic math for precise measurements and calculations.
