Job Description
Job Description Insight Global's client is specialized in developing, building, and installing optical sorting machines. They deliver custom solutions to their international customers who are primarily active in the food industry. With their innovative technology we help our customers reduce their costs for their product processing but at the same time maintain an optimal product quality. They count on the expertise of our team of 80 employees, spread over 3 locations (Belgium HQ, the Netherlands and USA) they aim to be a reliable business partner for their customers by strongly focus on service, quality and high-tech solutions. In order to support their growth plans in the United States we are currently looking for reinforcement for our Service Team in. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer in the Madison, Wisconsin area. THE JOB You're responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining the equipment at customer facilities according to the specifications. You will solve electrical, mechanical, software and sorter programming problems both at the customer site, remotely by phone and by remote access to the equipment.

- After installing the sorting machine you give technical training and education to your client on how to set-up the machine, use it and fix first line failures. You also give advice on how to maintain the machine.
- Share your field experiences regarding bottlenecks and how to fix them with your service and engineering colleagues
- Responsible for the administrative processing of the work performed and you write work instructions if necessary

- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (3-phase, single-phase power, low voltage DC) as well as mechanical work experience.
- Experience using a multimeter
- HS diploma or GED
- Passport required
- Self-starter
- Engineering degree
- Forklift certificate
- Experience with optics and lasers
- Bilingual in Spanish, French, or any other languages
