In this role, you'll own our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and work directly with the Controller on account reconciliations, month-end close, and other accounting activities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, customer payments, collections, and account maintenance. Assist with bank and balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. Process daily accounting activity, including bank transactions, deposits, expense entry, and petty cash. Reconcile vendor and customer accounts and research discrepancies. Research accounting discrepancies and ensure transactions are accurately recorded and supported. Complete voucher closing and maintain accurate supporting documentation. Maintain organized and accurate financial records. Support the Controller with accounting projects and additional responsibilities as needed.QUALIFICATIONS
Required An Accounting, Finance, or Business degree is preferred; equivalent accounting experience will also be considered. Previous accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or similar experience with a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals. Working knowledge of debits, credits, account reconciliations, and accrual accounting. Strong follow-through and the ability to independently manage recurring responsibilities and deadlines. Comfortable researching discrepancies and working through problems to resolution. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn new systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills.WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
