Job Description

Kaliber Management is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and team-focused Accountant to join our team and manage our Mobile Homes and RV Park accounting duties. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes full ownership of their work, follows a consistent monthly accounting schedule, and produces timely and accurate financial information and reports. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage monthly accounting transactions for multiple related entities in the Mobile Home Park and RV Park lines of business.
  • Supports all aspects of the Accounting department with the Controller including revenues, expenses, and intercompany balances with Kaliber Management and Kinetic Capital Holdings.
  • Oversee transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for multiple entities. Prepare monthly journal entries to allocate expenses across entities Prepare monthly journal entries to book revenues at MH and RV entities. Reconcile bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts monthly.
  • Produce monthly reports from subsidiary systems such as Campspot, Rent Manager, Cardpointe, and Zego as needed for month-end closing and monthly sales tax filings.
  • Prepare and submit sales and lodging tax reports
  • Provide ad-hoc financial reports in Excel and QBO
  • Prepare necessary schedules to support construction spend and banking draw cycles.
  • Update and maintain Chart of Accounts mapping in the consolidation tool, Syft.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Corporate Controller and CEO. Required Competencies & Qualifications
  • Expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience with Rent Manager and Real Estate industry preferred
  • Experience integrating various apps with QBO preferred
  • Strong job costing, reporting, and tracking skills
  • Ability to multitask, take initiative, and adapt to new technology
  • 3-5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, and an accounting degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with intercompany accounting
  • Eager to learn, open to coaching, and motivated to grow your skill set

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
